3000 / 8000 Double Side Grit Whetstone

Product description
The knife Sharpening Stones are made of durable white corundum. The set includes all the tools which you need to sharpen the knife.



There are 4 grit water stone which has different usage:

400 grit whetstones: It can fix the gap of your knife, and this whetstone can’t be used for general sharpening unless these knives are very dull.

1000 Grit Whetstone: You can use it to rough grinding your knife.

3000 Grit Whetstone: This grit water stone is used to grind the knife further and make it extremely sharp.

8000 Grit Whetstone: It is used to polish edge and help your knife become smooth.



Instructions of usage:

1. Sock the whetstones in water for about 10 minutes.

2. Clamp the angle guide on the back of the knife.

3. Use the 400 grit whetstone for coarse grinding at an angle of 10 ° to 30 ° for about 10 minutes.

4. Use the 1000 whetstone side to fine grinding the knife for about 10 minutes.

5. Use the 3000 grit whetstone to fine grinding the edge of the knife and remove the burr for about 10 minutes.

6. Polish the blade with 8000 grit whetstone about 5 minutes.

7. Wipe the edge of the knife with the leather strop to remove the remaining burrs gently.

8. Clean the knife with water and dry it immediately.

9. Use the Flattening Stone to smooth the surface of the Grinding Stone.

10. Finally, clean the grindstone with water and place it in a ventilated place.
